This collection started when I was planning my vintage-themed eco-friendly wedding in the of summer 2010. To make life as difficult as possible, we decided to run the whole thing ourselves in a meadow in the midlands, accompanied by an ice cream van, lots of Indian food, some amazing roaming minstrels, and a LOT of teapots. With help from our friends and family, we scoured the land for mis-matched crockery to use for our wedding feast, and in the past 7 years the collection has grown, grow and grown! I now own a huge collection of gorgeous crockery,  table cloths and bunting, which are available to hire to anyone planning any sort of party, large or small, be it a few friends round for high tea, or a huge banquet.

With years of experience running events, it felt like the next step to set up Secret Teas was inevitable! I run this business alongside my work as a musician, storyteller and freelance event manager for education events, as well as with a little help from my own small people (well, to be honest, they help by sleeping when I’m packing things up!). In the past few years I’ve covered many hen parties, hundreds of baby showers, huge formal weddings, landmark birthdays, christenings and many more events.

With my small team of lovely Secret Tea Ladies, we can also come in full vintage garb to set up your event, dress your room and waitress!  We’re always up for a challenge, so if you’re planning an unusual, quirky or downright peculiar event, please do ask if we can help…
